Terms & Conditions

The following is my Terms & Conditions for all pet portrait & yarn crafts commissions. It may also include deposits, cancellations, amendments to digital art, and other items.

Deposits

When placing a commission a deposit is required to reserve a place on the waiting list. This is a 25% for digital art, and 50% for crochet/craft projects. There is a 7 day grace period from the date of the booking to cancel and receive your full deposit back. However, after this date see cancellation terms.

Cancellations

If a client needs to cancel an order, they must notify us as soon as possible. If this time has exceeded the 7 day grace period, the 25% deposits for digital art becomes non refundable.

For crochet/craft projects there will be a cancellation fee which will be deducted from your deposit, covering mock-ups, general admin, and additional stock ordering for your planned piece. This fee varies depending on materials and time spent doing mock-ups.

Once a project has started and the client wishes to cancel, the deposit is entirely non refundable. There may also be an additional fee for the time spent on the painting or craft project, and material costs. This is time that could have been spent on other commissions.

Amendments to work

Once artwork is finished a low res screenshot will be provided to let me know if they would like any changes made. If the client is not happy they can get the work edited a maximum of 3 times. After which, or if the client is not happy they can choose to have a 50% refund, and will forfeit their HD art file.

Crochet/Craft
Once a crafted piece is shipped it is no longer acceptable for amendments and considered a completed project. Please see refund & returns policy below.

Damage in transit

Our crochet/craft pieces are packed in a high standard of packaging and tracked to ensure loss is limited. In the unlikely event the product is damaged the client must send photos of the packaging immediately. The client may be asked to return the item in the original packaging for repair or replacement. The client will have to cover the cost of shipping.

Gifting certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and do not have a fixed expiry date. However, will no longer be valid if the product is listed as no longer available, and is subject to price increases in future years. They are guaranteed for one year at the purchased price, but additional fees may apply after 12 months where prices may rise.

Pricing transaction fees

Prices are in British Pound Sterling, and if you are outside of England, please note that there may be additional transaction fees for international purchases, and customs. Please take into consideration any possible bank/card/PayPal/customs fees that may be added to your purchase. We are not liable for that additional charge.

Shipping

Most products are made-to-order so production times vary depending on level of detail, or any customisations. Do check the shop for estimated delivery times and possible shipping locations. We are based in the United Kingdom, so there will be additional fees for international deliveries or some locations that are not available to send products.

Membership to Discord

The Discord server is a free community messenger that adheres to the same policies referenced in these terms. It is free to join and participate, and you may grant yourself ranks suited to your interest for tagging purposes. You are welcome to leave it at any time.

Refund Policy

Returns and exchanges are not offered unless there is a significant damage or fault in the quality of the product. This must be done within the following timeframe:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Send items back within 21 days of delivery.

Conditions of return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

You will also be responsible for shipping costs to return the item, and any loss in value for items not returned in original condition.

Non-returnable exceptions
Custom orders or personalised commissions are not eligible for return, refunds, or exchanges. We do not accept returns on sale items, or digital downloads due to their nature.

To start a return, please contact us at contact@liziloulovecraft.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to Wiltshire, England, and you must cover the cost of the return shipping yourself.

All artwork and patterns produced on liziloulovecraft.com are the property of liziloulovecraft. They are subject to copyright, and are intended for personal use only. You may not mass produce, republish, or sell my patterns or merchandise my artwork. If you locate any merchandise sold using my artwork, notify me immediately.

Selling items from my Patterns or Artwork

You are welcome to sell items you make from my patterns in small scale. I only ask you include a credit link to liziloulovecraft.com to direct to the source of the pattern. As we would love to see your finished products, do contact us or tags us on social media.

We do not accept selling any items using artwork produced by me. Any and all work provided is for your personal use only, and you can print it however you wish for family and friends without making money from it. However, you cannot sell merchandise using my art or mass product from my patterns. If interested in producing pieces from my artwork, contact me to discuss collaborations.

Safety

All craft products sold and projects you create from my patterns should not be left on or near young children or pets who are left unattended. Any items listed as child or pet friendly should still not be left unsupervised on or near young children or pets.

All products sold come with a safety label that you may remove but should keep safe. This may include washing, cleaning, or fire safety information that is determined by the materials used. Do not throw away safety labels and adhere to general safety measures.

liziloulovecraft is not liable for any accidents caused by misuse of products, or failure to supervise the use of your purchases. Our products are mainly for adults or pet wearables, so should be kept out of reach from small children. Removal of any fixed tags, hooks, or straps that come with products is not recommended.
